With Gratitude to Arthur Keith Meador

Arthur Keith Meador

April 12, 1935 – September 03, 2020

“Keith was a very happy, friendly, and positive person.  He had a great sense of humor and he was a very open, sociable person with the LVMC teaching staff and with the students in the LVMC centers”

Over the last 38 years, LVMC has built great success stories and memories thanks to our volunteers, staff, and especially our students; with the support from generous donors and our Board of Directors.  We are successful because many individuals have contributed to our mission of “empowering adults to achieve literacy and improve their quality of life.
We dedicate this page to honor of our supporters: Arthur Keith Meador, aka Mr. Keith, volunteered for many years helping our students and training our volunteer tutors.  Mr. Keith put all his gifts and abilities at the service of LVMC to make a difference in the lives of our students.  LVMC Supervisor Arcelia Zamora worked along Mr. Keith for several years.  Arcelia remembers:
“Keith was a very happy, friendly, and positive person.  He had a great sense of humor and he was a very open, sociable person with the LVMC teaching staff and with the students in the LVMC centers.   He was always willing to help and enthusiastic to do new projects for LVMC. He did help for years to do LVMC volunteer training in the East valley.  In addition to this, he also enjoyed working with LVMC adult learners in small groups or tutoring the students one to one. Keith made a difference at LVMC helping and supporting our adult learners, also contributing to train new volunteers so they will be able to help or tutor students.  He will be greatly missed at LVMC.

Mr. Keith passed away on September 3rd. Read a remembrance about him
