Arizona Tax Credit Program (Dollar-for-Dollar tax credit)
Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County, doing business as Literacy Phoenix, is a Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO Code 20480) under the Arizona Tax Credit Program. Under this program, Arizona taxpayers have the opportunity to make contributions to Literacy Phoenix and thereby reduce the amount of their Arizona state tax liability. Depending on the taxpayer’s situation, this could increase the amount of his/her Arizona state tax refund. For specific information, please refer to the Arizona Department of Revenue’s Form 321, or visit https://azdor.gov/tax-credits. The “dollar-for-dollar” tax credit allows individuals to take a dollar off their Arizona state tax liability for each dollar contributed to Literacy Phoenix up to the credit limits, $495 for single taxpayers (or married filing separately or head of household) and $987 for married filing jointly.
